Information you choose to send

The enquiry form asks for your name, telephone number and selected roofing service. You may also provide an email address, postcode and details about the roofing issue. This information is used to respond to your enquiry, discuss the job and provide any requested follow-up.

How enquiry delivery works

When email delivery is configured, the website’s Cloudflare Pages Function validates the form and sends the details to J5 through the configured email-delivery provider. The function does not write your enquiry to a website database. If online delivery is not configured or is unavailable, the site opens your own email application with the details ready for you to review and send.

Legal basis and retention

J5 uses enquiry details to respond to your request and take steps you ask for before any work is agreed. Records may also be retained where needed for quotations, agreed work, accounting, legal obligations or dispute handling. Enquiries should be kept only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not include analytics or advertising trackers and does not set marketing cookies. No cookie-consent banner is needed for the site as delivered. Cloudflare may process network and security information to host and protect the website. If analytics, advertising pixels or other non-essential cookies are added later, this policy and the consent controls must be updated first.

Technical and security data

Hosting and email providers may process technical information such as IP address, request time, browser information and delivery logs for security, reliability and troubleshooting. J5 does not ask this static website to store payment-card information or sensitive identification documents.

External websites

Links to Facebook, Google Maps, Yell, Checkatrade and the ICO take you to external services with their own privacy practices. Information you send directly through those services is governed by their policies, not this one.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law can give you rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of personal information. Contact J5 to make a request. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
